This is the second video in my tutorial series all about the video settings that I use when rendering my videos in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. While first video and text tutorial was all about my 4K export settings, this one tackles my 1080p export settings. If you are using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, CS 5.5, or CS5, I have an earlier blog post I wrote back in 2012 detailing my 1080p export settings for those programs.

This tutorial is significantly shorter than my 4K export settings tutorial due to me not going nearly as in-depth about my reasoning for choosing the settings that I use. So if you are watching this video or reading the text tutorial below and are confused about why I am using a certain setting, I would highly recommend watching the 4K export settings video, as many of the settings that I go over are similar and include explanations.

In the near future, I will be releasing the third (and final!) video in this series, detailing my Instagram export settings. It is my hope that between these three videos, your video quality will look its best whether you are exporting your videos for YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, or a client.

  8. You're video's three years old, but it was a life saver for me. First time I was handling some 1080p videos and needed a quick way to learn how to export for a project.

  9. I need help,i dont know why but when i import a video in pr,it looks great but when i put it in then thing in which you edit it,it looks like its 480p and when i upload it to youtube, its a 240p video. I looked on youtube on how to increase the quality and i did that but i STILL doesnt work.

  35. Just a question about uploading videos to instagram T.V Is there a minimum resolution? ie. Would I be able to uplaod a 640 x 480 p 1:1 aspect ratio video?

  47. Is there a particular reason you created a sequence with DSLR preset to match your clip, rather than dragging the clip into the time line and have it create the sequence for you?
